Clearly the people complaining social media is toxic and awful are not following the right people online. Because I am crying from laughter from my Instagram feed today.

At one point tonight, the Mavs had a 48-point lead, the largest lead in NBA Finals history in FIFTY years. I was a toddler the last time a NBA team led by that much in a Finals game.

Dallas’ 122-82 victory was the 3rd largest margin of victory in NBA Finals history.

Stars win on the road in Edmonton, and Angel Hernandez retires from umpiring in the major leagues on the same day?!? God is good, y’all. God is good.

I really appreciate the dad-nerd humor in the AutoZone commercial about the slow-starting car:

“It just needs a charge. Don’t worry, it’s free.”

“Are you sure it’s free?”

“Positive.”

It’s now more punk to be a practicing, Bible-believing Christian, than it is to be an actual punk rocker.

And politics aside, what a story of God’s grace and mercy Dave Mustaine is.
